We cannot compare apples and oranges. Spike Lee emphasizes the racist bullshit in his work. Tyler Perry emphasizes the the patriarchic bullshit in his work. Both attempt to give voices to the voiceless. Abused women and Gays are no less important than abused Blacks and browns. We should all try to accept our innate equality and move on.

My comment (Cont'd): They did make a point that he is not really all black people watch, so that is another point against Spike. Another thing i wanted to point out is how do other celebs not diss Tyler AS MUCH as spike does. They may make a comment but they dont blast him. Another thing Tyler Perry has HIDDEN messages in his films, you have to look for them if you want them. Some see it quick, others not. Last Tyler supports other black Film Makers (Salim/T.D/Ice Cube) Spike should do the same
