My brothers, father and grandfather went fishing in St. Pete's, Florida. Dolphins came up to the boat to beg for fish. A Spanish mackerel escaped from my grandfather while he was trying to hand it to a dolphin. The dolphin chased the fish and brought his catch back to the boat, tossing it in the air to show that he had caught it.

  • Looks like st.pete:D ive lived here all my life and ifeed the pelicans and seaguls but never gotten a chance to feed a dolphin. But like everyone is saying i think it is against the law, but you dont have to delete it? But it is because when you feed dolphins they start to rely on humans for food and when they arent there they can starve and die. Like the saying "A fed bear is a dead bear" But this dolphin is SOOO cute!!

  • Look at that dolphin, throwing the fish like a boss.

  • i feed dolphins all the time , the are wonderful mammals . beautiful

  • "The prohibition against dolphin feeding was enacted by the fisheries service in 1991. In 1993, this prohibition was upheld by the Fifth Circuit for the United States Court of Appeals. Violation of this regulation carries civil and criminal penalties with fines up to $20,000. Fisheries guidelines require boaters to stay at least 50 yards from dolphins. If a dolphin approaches you, slowly move away and do not attempt to interact. Fed dolphins become vulnerable to human abuse & shark attacks."

  • That was so awesome!! You just put the fish in the water, the dolphin didn't even take it from your hand. It was so cool how he was like thanking you!
