I miss Dale. The only thing is, if he hadn't died in '01 Dale, or someone else, would eventfully die because it took that crash to make NASCAR safer (like the COT)

@nonefour Head on crashes are sudden stops which can cause belts to break or your head to quickly go forwards and hit the steering wheel or dash. Flips are better because the cars rolling slows it down whereas head on hits at Daytona/Dega can be about 150-200 mph. It used to confuse me, too. 3 forever!!!

own your absolutely right it could have actually still happened , soem of the tracks had some non safer barier walls and jeff gordon hit both of those hard

Instead of typing "your", it is instead the word You're with the apostaphe separating the two words You Are which fits directly into the context of which you are typing the sentence therefore it would make a little more sense to write it this way. @ownwar8 To be honest, I think Earnhardt would be livid over the changes that have been made to the cars. I love that we have the HANS device and the safer barriers at tracks (I honestly think they should be all the way around the track, and not just the corners), but the new cars and restrictions on them really cripple true racing. It's made it a complete borefest, and that's something Earnhardt spoke out about a lot when he was alive.
