Peak Oil Myth - Scam
65% Of the oil remains in the earth', According to Noe van Hulst, Secretary General of the International Energy Forum, even The Children of our children will not see the day that we no longer have use of oil because most of it stays in the ground.

2. There is no need to use water to pressurize wells & make extraction easier if there are large amounts of oil in the ground. Pumping water into the oil fields is done when those fields are in decline. Currently Pemex's largest field is also pumping water.

1. Besides the decline in oil's availability, "peak oil" theory has a 2nd component. That is that the world's ability to move & refine oil will not be able to match its need. In other words, not enough refineries, etc. Due to mergers, the closing of our oldest, dirtiest refineries, & their not being replaced, the US has 25% fewer refineries than we did in 1990.

This guy presents no intelligent detailed arguments why I should disbelieve Peak Oil. After all, Hubbert was right about the US peaking in the 70's. Where are the oil fields of Texas that people thought would never dry up? And where are we today? Importing 75%+ of our oil from overseas. If the US peaked in the 70's, why could the world not peak?

What about the availability for green energies like the electric car that GM motors scrapped!!!! LIES ! LIES ! LIES ! They are holding back green energies for their own personal gain at our & the planets expense!

This guy is talking crap! Yes peak oil is a scam, but the interviewer said 'New energy ALTERNATIVES' Does this dickhead know the meaning of alternative? Alternative to using oil, he is not saying he needs to discover MORE OIL at all! LIES!

@watertonrivers the reason why it will be there for 100 years is because it is a slow mining operation. Peak oil is about the speed at which you can extract oil, NOT the amount.

Also, based upon your statement under the video, you obviously don't understand what peak oil is all about .It's not about running out of oil tomorrow. It's about an inability to increase or keep up with PRODUCTION RATES. The harder to extract oil is also the slowest and requires the most investment dollars. We likely peaked in 2006-2008 time frame when you disregard natural gas distillates (which isn't oil). That's the main reason for the poor world economy and why growth can not continue.

Scam? Yes and the world is flat. Many countries including the US have past their peak oil production rates. The US peaked in 1970. We will never approach this number ever again no matter how much slow production rate shale rock you extract. Mexico peaked in 2003. Saudi Arabia is expected to peak within the next few years. Canada is expected to be able to increase production for awhile but will likely peak within 20 years. This is a real , measured, physical phenomenon. Not some "theory"

actually, i think i have heard that leaves decomposing in water will leave the glossy glow of its oils on top of the water. so what if, say, the rainforest, water filtering through mass amounts of plant material on the surface collecting in the ground. it could be a natural process of the earth as long as there is life.

The amount of oil is specific,so of course there is a peak oil.
The amount of oil is specific,so of course there will be a day, when there will be no oil left.
