This video is just for fun for anybody who ever went to Highlands Chalet Park in Clacton-on-Sea. I am sorry to report that our Beloved Holiday Camp has been a victim of the Bulldozers and is being built on as we speak!!!!

Awshoot .... more of the good ol' past obliterated. Had a fun fortnight at Highlands in summer '68, the last really carefree period of my life. It was probably only a few years old then and everything still looked nice and worked.

Probably not, I fear. Taking photos (especially with flash) was still a relatively pricey and fiddlesome business in those days, so we didn't take many. And if any have survived, they'll be buried deep somewhere in my mother's house in the UK (I'm in NZ!!).
