Chapter 6

Evy's Dream/Memory
"You were amazing baby" I said as I kissed him, he wrapped his arms around me and deepened the kiss. I pulled away so I could look at his very beautiful face.
"Thanks Sweetheart, This is for you" he reached into his pocket and pulled out a locket.
"Shane, its beautiful! But youve already given me enough..." he put his finger to my lips silencing me. He looked me deep in the eyes "Your worth the whole world and I intend to spend my life giving it to you" he stroked my face. I loved him so much; I honestly believed that nothing and no one could ever break us up.
I woke up to the sound of my daughters paying outside. I walked to the window and my heart jumped at what I saw. Shane was on our front lawn playing with my girls. I smiled the biggest smile I had in a long time; I had pictured this so many times when we were dating. I went outside just as he was swinging Emily above his head.
"Hi mommy" she giggled when she saw me.
"Whats going on?" I asked as Gracie jumped in my arms, hugged me then jumped back down.
"Shane came over to play" Emily answered.
Shane gave me a goofy grin and then out of nowhere Emily tackled him to the ground
"Emily" I laughed
"No, no dont hurt me please" Shane pretended to cry as the girls jumped all over him.
"Alright girls, let him up" They did as they were told, giggling as he rose from the ground.
"Never thought Id see the day when a big strapping quarter back would be taken down two tiny little girls, I must say Im not impressed" I teased he gave me a look I hadnt seen in years but new very well. His evil smirk, He was going to tackle me. I started to slowly move back "Shane...Dont please.... I was joking... Please dont tackle ..." I didnt even finish the sentence; I was already on my back with him on top of me, with a big grin plastered on his face.
"You were saying" his face was inches from mine his green eyes were penetrating through me
"What?" I asked a little dazed, then it was like a light bulb went off in his eyes and then I remembered what came after the tackle "Shane, no no no dont tickle me" I screamed in laughter as he began to tickle me. Then the girls joined in making it one giant tickle fest, but something caught my eye, a familiar car was coming down the road. My heart stopped dead... It was Joe.
I know it was a little short!! but chapter 7 will be later on today.
