  • Reading all the comments on depth of Squats. I read some say you activate diff muscles going below parallel, some say look at the weight used...etc. Here's something to consider, did you hear him say his knee hurt at the end? Reasons this could have happened...SHEAR STRESS on knee joints for NOT going below parallel. It is actually harder on your knees not going BELOW parallel. Plus the knee wraps don't allow his tendons/ligaments to function properly and get stronger. Squat/Leg press DEEP

  • @Leestink clearly there is evidence for both. This guys legs are ridiculous and look how he trains. On the other hand, Dorian did hack squats with his ass on the floor and he had huge legs too.

  • @imconfusd you are confused about squats thats for sure...branch got pretty low but that second guy didnt even come close to parallel if he went parallel or below parallel like how you are supposed to squat...then he probably couldnt get half those reps

  • Full squats and half squats train different muscles. With half squats the emphasis is on the quads, in full squats you're activating the glutes and hamstrings a lot more. These guys are also doing a lot of heavy deadlifts and other glute and hamstring exercises so there is no need to be straining those muscles on a quad day.

  • lmfao 95% of the people here dont even lift, a full squat just works ur glutes more, he can get off with a half squat (which isnt really half squat, he is kind of going deep) since he probably just wants quad contraction
