@GamblingDementor Parts of the lyrics were/are extracts from the books. There are 'songs' in the books when you read them. Amongst others, the 'Tolkien Ensemble' has put these texts together and put an instrumental accompaniment under it. The song of Tom Bombadil is another example of this.

This song reminds me of better times, of love and freedom. Strange to think that those times were less than 6 months ago.
