MPC1000

This is my new track called 'Betrayed Vow Cometh, Forgiven Heroine'. It was created initially on the MPC1000, and then structured and taken further in Cubase. I wrote it for my girlfriend Genevieve for Valentine's Day. She is amazing.

This will feature on my new album which will be finished in a couple of months or so. Sounds you might recognise are Max Richter, the call to prayer (again, no insult intended to anyone, I just find it extremely beautiful), Elton John's in there somewhere, Joni Mitchell, a little something from a Frank Sinatra record, the list goes on. It's inspired by the likes of Prefuse 73, Four Tet and the Cinematic Orchestra.
