تجربه زنان مسلمان از برداشتن حجاب در آمریکا ( و یک ایرانی به نام صابره جعفرزاده) http://www.mashreghnews.ir/NSite/FullStory/News/?Id=45520

For centuries, Islamic scholars have said that Muslim women must cover their hair. But many Muslim women don't. There are about 1 million Muslim women in America; 43 percent of them wear headscarves all the time, according to the Pew Research Center. About 48 percent — or half a million women — don't cover their hair, the survey found. The split between women who've covered and women who've never done so has existed for decades. But now a generation of women is taking off the headscarf, or hijab. Although the scarf is a public, sometimes even political symbol, women say the choice to unveil is highly private, emotional and religious.

  • Wow they look so much more friendly and normal to me without the hijab. The hijab just looks oppressive.

  • @irregularfruit: you obviously no nothing about Iran then...women are forced to wear the hijab in Iran whether they want to or not. Yes, everyone has the right to choose what they wear - and that includes NOT having to wear the hijab if they don't want to.

  • Fuck the Hijab

  • @nojanemad its not fair to call a woman prostitute only because she thinks different!

  • What a beauties...

  • @etaheriri You are so ignorant that you don’t even know how to spell Islam.

  • As for the Iranian’s specially Iranian women, well I am sure we can just go to a concert and or private party and see how they dress, how they carry then self, just like a cheap prostitute. Obviously Islam and Hijab are not for you.

  • . I am so proud of my roots that I feel naked without Islam. I really think people whom never been to Iran, or any other Muslim country should visit before your brain is more frozen and you become just like another Bush or Bainer or one of these Tea Party members.

  • I am very disappointed to see a video with bunch of paid actress on YouTube. I am also very disappointed that people whom think they live in a free world like US and Canada and maybe Europe they think they know more than us Muslim, I am a Muslim from Iran whom grow up in Canada and moved to US just to advertise for my religion.
