The styles are almost identical because they evolved together, exchanging techniques as they grew.

It does not mean Muay Thai is stolen. That kind of remark is stupid.

Hey, it was merely a question, no need to give me a thumbs down. Did I insult you? I just failed to see your reasoning. Karate originated from china. Okay, so do the chinese have something which resembles karate? This isnt a question of adaptation. Muay thai and pradal serey are almost identical, from the fighting styles to the traditional rituals.

Regardless of where any style started, in SE Asia, the borders, lands, traditions, have all changed hands several times. Back and forth, each one has added to it.

Karate originated from China, Kung Fu originated from India. No one stole anything.

If Cambodians made a style, Thais would have fought back in a similar way, exchanging techniques.

No one stole.
