Am Yisrael Echad

Am Yisrael Echad, a non-profit organization recognized by the Ministry of Education, was established to bridge the gap between the secular and the religious Israeli, and to help secular children connect to their Jewish roots and understand their heritage. Am Yisrael Echad, by working expressly with older children and teens, seeks to create a strong future nation by emphasizing our shared Jewish identity despite our individual differences. Our programs include specific seminars on: Jewish holidays and Jewish values; introduction to bar/bat mitzvah; and informal meetings between secular and religious teenagers. Because of our mission to transcend religious and political divisions, students who have participated in our program feel stronger ties to both the land of Israel and the people of Israel.
