I believe what happened is that about 10 years ago Fox got the rights to make the movie but they never did, and now that the movie is one of 2009s most anticipated ones, they're jealous because they missed the opportunity so they want to axe the thing. They still have the rights to Watchmen because of the original deal, so they want to ruin our fun now.

????? i am a fan of the book what else is there? I read the book and thought it was great so how could you be anymore of a fan than me? Any one who would say that right of the bat with not info is a douchebag. The book and the movie are two differnt things if you dont want there to be a movie that doesnt make you more of less of a fan. And why say "my mistake" your mistake about what? Its just something to try to sound witty after that douchebag reply.
