  • but before you put the poly what did you have before

  • @iceventz that is original. the poly i got was near perfect matching reason it doesnt look off from the rest of the car. nice huh? i got my dash kit from "dash kit specialties" website where they have custom styles as well as oem matching.

  • did your dash come with the brushed alum or the other wood on the center dash cuz I have the alum and I want to change it but do't know if it will work

  • @iceventz mine is all wood. they should be direct fits, but it will be testing on your end.

  • the dealer told me that it's impossible to connect.. They said that the whole car is connected to the radio. So question did you buy this radio oem or straight from the dealer and did it came with all the wiring or you just used the the harness wire for the the non Navi radio. Cuz I have a 05 and I been wanting to do this but everyone is saying no it can't be done!!!! Also, did u use that polytheraine dash kit for your car!!!!!. Cuz it looks sweet.

  • @iceventz I bought it used. it came with cut off wire harness which is not needed inless you want the voice/bluetooth/xm radio to function and the 5.1 audio. otherwise for nav and dvd playing you can use the connectors that are in the car already. then you just need the dealer to unlock the radio for your car. yes i use a poly kit.

  • @Igetbitches115 The onstar still worked like normal. the audio part of the Bluetooth and voice control you can't hear. so i am assuming they are tied into the same speaker which the wiring is not present. aux did not work as there was no aux connections in the car. xm did not work as my original radio did not have it. not saying that any of this can't be corrected with some work, but i have not had time to work on it yet.

  • Does the aux work and the onstar

  • @vertec96 bluetooth works but the audio out from the bluetooth and navi audio out won't work. they are another harness piece.

  • @Braybizzel this deck cost me 700 shipped. then the dealer charged about 100 to unlock it for my car.
