North Seattle Community College offers an accredited, self-paced medical assisting program that will effectively prepare you for the national certification exam. Our graduates pass the national exam in the high 90-percentile nationally and are in high demand from area hospitals and medical centers.

North Seattles program integrates online and classroom learning with open labs, offering you flexibility, hands-on experience AND critical small group and one-on-one learning opportunities.

The modular format allows you to study the theory lessons at home at your convenience. As you move through the program, you will also attend class for hands-on administrative and clinical demonstrations as well as work in small groups.

Several of our modules are also available fully online. All modules are offered every quarter, so you can begin whenever you want.

We have partnerships with many area hospitals and clinics and our graduates are in high demand by employers including the University of Washington Medical Center, Childrens Hospital and Regional Medical Center, Northwest Hospital, Virginia Mason Medical Center, Minor and James Medical, Swedish Medical Center and many other medical clinics. North Seattle Community Colleges medical assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education.
