Gerald Henderson Steal Vs. Lakers; Game 2, 1984 NBA Finals:
"After losing Game 1 at home, the Celtics were in a state of desperation at Boston Garden in Game 2: the Lakers had the ball and a 113-111 lead with 18 seconds left. Then, Gerald Henderson saved the day for Boston, stealing James Worthy's soft crosscourt pass and driving in for a game-tying layup. The Celtics would go on the win the game 124-121 in OT, and the series in seven games." - NBA.com

  • Gotta love the old celtics/lakers matchups. Every year you knew who would be in the finals, just didn't know who would win. The two greatest franchises in NBA history.

  • they look da same!

  • Wow, talk about coming full-circle! That was none other than James Worthy who made the errant pass!!

  • @trackstarz2011 reminds me of the player on Villanova who passed and was intercepted by N. Carolina's James Worthy. That guy must have (prob STILL does) felt awful.
