Not sure if they intended it (Mel Gibson) but the Bible talks about Jesus after he dies descending into hell and taking the keys of sin and death from the devil. So I think they show the devil screaming here because he was just stripped of the authority he had. Because after Jesus took the keys he rose from the dead.

Jesus will return soon. look around you...the signs are there..read the Bible(especialy the New Testament )..put Gods Word next to reality..God is warning us. keep your eyes onto Israel/Jerusalem theres little time left:open your heart for Jesus. if you have doubts: ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you. @Jonezisruthless Satan WON'T b controlling anyone in the Lake of Fire. U need 2 read God's Word the Bible + take it very seriously + act on the message that Jesus gives so u won't b condemned on Judgement Day. There will b no mocking of the Saviour Jesus on Judgement Day. There will b those that receive a crown of Righteousness + Eternal Life + those that will receive Eternal Condemnation. Ask urself which 1 u really prefer? Remember they r both eternal!!!

@hamoba143 U r very right my friend in ur understanding of how brutal the crucifixion was. But the even grewater suffering Jesus suffered was when He calls on His Father+says: "My God My God y have u 4saken me"? This was the awful moment when Jesus was bearing the full wrath of the Father 4our sins. Jesus was 4saken by His Father at that time. It was a spiritual abandonment. Many ppl don't fully realise what awful agony spiritual abandonment by God means. Jesus bore this 4our sakes. God Bless U

Many people have Stockholm Syndrome. They assume since their daily needs are met, they will be OK, yet in their ignorance, they do not realize their captor has planned their death far more horribly then they can imagine. Christ won the Keys of Sin and Death, yet those held in bondage, though the keys are so close they can touch them, wont use them. Their deaths will come one by one, and Freedom was within reach the whole time.

so Satan is pissed off and tries to tempt everyone by making sinning very attractive. ( think about horror movies , paganry, freemasonery, blasphemy, sex (it's everywhere), drugs, alcohol, music and movies that support hate and anger, and much more

that's how satan tries to pull you away from the good news

that jesus loves you and died for you.
