This was great - thank you very much! My only comments are that I struggled visualizing that the view of the pulley is from the back of the dryer, and not the front. I also struggled because I was putting the belt in one of the grooves of the drum, rather than on the drum itself, which caused the belt to sit incorrectly. After three attempts, and 10+ views of the video, I finally got it - thanks again!

Thank you so much for making this video! I know its a Whirlpool but it the exact same as our Maytag Model # DE482. Thanks for saving us from buying a new dryer! This one is 26y/rs and going strong now :)

@RepairClinic Alright, thanks very much.

Went a lot like the way demonstrated but either that idler spring is weak or you have super human strength! What a struggle to get the pulley far enough to slip it over.

thanks very helpful!
I have a Maytag PYET244AYW and it looks nothing like this inside, I can't seem to find the proper video for it either...

@ixbleedxfire This video was made using a Whirlpool dryer. We do not have videos made for every style appliance made, but we are working on the most popular styles. If you need help please check out our RepairHelp section of our website (Repairclinic com) or email the RepairGuru from our site.
