Holy shit man this is way better than this candy ass music we have today!!! I love Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, Metallica, and Pantera!! But my favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Jimi Hendrix. I love any rock from Elvis to Nirvana I think whenever Kurt Cobain died music just went downhill especially that Rap Crap and That Bieber fag!!

The phrygian and harmonic minor scale structures in holy wars are very reminiscent of spanish+turkish moor gypsy's, making sense for the kinda flamenco/kinda eastern sounds.
But I think to really get into the deep east (Iraq/Afghan/Pakistan) Marty should've dabbled in some Hungarian minor and Todi scales (1 b2 b3 #4 5 b6 #7 stuff) with micro tones around the 1 and 5 (##7 bb2 ##4 bb6 with your whammy bar, 1/4 hick bends dimebag style)
