Mercedes 4.5 V8 revving

A warmed up 280SE 4.5 revving up to roughly 3500 RPMs (its redline is roughly 6000). This is the same 4.5 as my other videos. The sound is similar to a 3.5 but a little deeper.

@Haffschlappe You don't need to lubricate Bosch D-Jetronic! This is EFI and not mechanical injection. I would imagine that adding oil to the gas would cause more problems with rough running & idle.

I am contemplating purchasing one. I've had two 300SD's and a 560SEL. I think my next S class should be the 280SE with the four and a half litre in it.

so this car is a Mercedes W108 280SE 4.5 american spec.

Hehe its a Mercedes W114 with changed engine to a 4.5 litres one.

Thea year is around 68-73 ( after 73 they have changed the steering wheel of the model)
