  • ..brutal.......color sours to stale, I just can't stop the bleeding........my corpse is still breathing.

  • I've been stuck on this song in my car over and over within the tiny breaths of time it takes to get to work and back home. Not even knowing its name until tonight. @godfreyhowatchin I like what you wrote.

  • @sconl it's on the radio morocco comp. the track "Radio Chechaouen"

    start at 3:52......

  • Charles Gocher demonstrating that less really is more. That fill at 0:45 is gorgeous.

  • @sconl

    Freres Megri - Lili twill

  • @nuclearchristy -- You guessed it! THAT is what it means!

  • Nevermind - "Radio Morocco."

  • The original song they based this on is on one of the Sublime Frequencies "Radio" comps.

    Anyone remember which one?

  • i think at least from a western perspective "cruel and thin" is a more meaningful song with subliminal suggestions of denial, personal loss, the short span of human life, the connections between us all, and other subjects, plus Charles' incomparable drumming

  • @nuclearchristy "7uRxM2O5EbM" appended to the youtube link. That. This is what it all means. Rich and Alan are enormous fans of local music from the arabic countries, indonesia, northern africa, and so on and a couple of their songs (i'm just finding out) are actually semi-cover versions of obscure tracks from the muslim world.

I think I prefer the SCG version on this as they add their own twist of western hermeticism and intend for one to misinterpret their lyrical glossolalia personally

  • Can someone please explain to me what this all means?!
