*New Prayers* and Ancient Curses 99 Prayer -Runescape

Finally, a decent update to prayer. Glad I have 99 :)

I show the effect of each new prayer and curse and an example of how well they are. If you have any questions, please post. The quest to unlock these new prayers and curses is The Temple at Senntisten.

___The Curses___

===Sap Curses===

• Sap Warrior-Lvl 50: Drain enemy Attack, Strength and Defence by 10%, increasing to 20% over time.

• Sap Ranger-Lvl 52: Drain enemy Ranged and Defence by 10%, increasing to 20% over time.

• Sap Mage-Lvl 54:Drain enemy Magic and Defence by 10%, increasing to 20% over time

• Sap Spirit-Lvl 56: Drain enemy special attack energy.


===Deflect Prayers===

• Deflect Summoning-Lvl 62: Deflects damage caused by Summoning scrolls and enemy familiars.

• Deflect Magic-Lvl 65:
Protects against damage from Magic attacks and can deflect some of the damage back onto the attacker.

• Deflect Missiles-Lvl 68:Protects against damage from Ranged attacks and can deflect some of the damage back onto the attacker.

• Deflect Melee-Lvl 71: Protects against damage from melee attacks and can deflect some of the damage back onto the attacker.

===Leech Curses===

• Leech Attack-Lvl 74: Boosts Attack by 5%, increasing to 10% over time. Drains enemy Attack by 10%, increasing to 25% over time.

• Leech Ranged-Lvl 76: Boosts Ranged by 5%, increasing to 10% over time. Drains enemy Ranged by 10%, increasing to 25% over time.

• Leech Defense-Lvl 80: Boosts Defence by 5%, increasing to 10% over time. Drains enemy Defence by 10%, increasing to 25% over time.

• Leech Strength-Lvl 82: Boosts Strength by 5%, increasing to 10% over time. Drains enemy Strength by 10%, increasing to 25% over time.

• Leech Energy-Lvl 84:Boosts run energy, while draining enemy run energy by up to 10%.

• Leech Special Attack: Boosts special attack energy, while draining enemy special attack energy by up to 10%.

===Other===

•Protect Item -Lvl 50: If this curse is active it allows you to keep an additional item when you die.

• Berserker- Lvl 59:Boosted combat stats last 15% longer.

• Wrath-Lvl 89: If this curse is active when you die, it deals damage of up to 25% of your max Prayer to all nearby enemies. Note that this curse will not hurt other players outside of PvP areas, and it won't hit multiple targets in non-multicombat zones.

• Soul Split-Lvl 92:If this curse is active when you are fighting another player, they will lose 1 Prayer point (and you will gain 1 Hitpoint) for every five points of damage you do to them. This curse drain effect isn't affected by your victim's protection prayers.

• Turmoil-Lvl 95: Increases your Attack and Defence by 15% (plus 15% of your enemy's Attack/Defence, up to a limit of 14 levels), and Strength by 23% (plus 10% of your enemy's Strength, up to a limit of 9 levels).

-How the Deflect Prayers Work-

I'd like to explain a bit how the deflected damage actually works. Let's say another player is attacking me with an Armadyl Godsword and I'm using the Deflect Melee prayer. He hits a 5 on me. 1 damage will be inflicted upon him; pretty much, the Deflect prayers act like a ring of recoil.

Now, let's say you're using the Deflect prayers against a monster. You will have 100% protection if you're using the correct prayer. Now recoil will still be inflicted upon the attacking monster depending on whether he was supposed to deal damage to you or not. So to sum it all up, it's like a normal Protect from prayer, but deals small amounts of damage to the attacking monster. :)

WARNING: Some monsters are immune to taking damage caused by the Deflect prayer. These monsters include Tormented Demons, Barrows Brothers, and a few others that I'm trying to figure out. Corporeal Beast DOES take deflect damage.

~Extra Notes

Sap & Leech curses can not be used at the same time. For example, you cannot have Sap Ranger and Leech Strength active together. Though you can have Leech Range & Strength together.

Also, Sap & Leech curses cannot be active while Turmoil is. Deflect and other over-the-head prayers can still be activated with Turmoil; along with Berserker and Protect Item.

UPDATE: Due to a recent change in the KB, Soul Split is confirmed to only heal 1/5 of inflicted damage.

Once you have finished the quest "the temple at sennisten" you can go to the digsite climb down the rope and pray at the altar shown in the begging of this video.... Hope this helped and stop asking where to get them now

The curses are shit if u arent 95 or at least 92. Without turmoil and soulsplit normal prayers (piety!!!) are Alot better then.

Nice man nice... just wish I had ancient curses :'( frikkin only lvl 45 prayer but going to get that up and besides that only have one quest requirement complete and that's desert treasure idk how I can get 65 smith and 66 mining I'm 38 smith and 55 mining sure and I don't know how to get hunter up im too impatient and all that and I, I just wanna get this lol
