  • Jesus taught us how to pray....Our Father....he taught us to pray to Our Father, not Our Son. There is one God, the Father. 1cor8:6

  • These posts are excellent, really informative and useful. Thanks so much

  • I like sum of yer points. I notice u forgot to mention that JWs have changed the relationship of God. Matt 6 clearly states that we are to pray to our heavenly father, the JW's say this and ADD Jehovah, which puts them on equal terms, not slave terms as they say. It is wrong to pray to Jehovah when Jesus clearly showed us the personal relationship he wanted us to have with God, like a parent for eternity ;)

  • I agree with some of the things you say about JW's and I must admit that I do have problems with how churches and JW's do their prayers. I notice that you forgot to mention that JW's pray to Jehovah when it specifically states in Matt 6 that we are to pray to our heavenly father. By saying his first name, we assume a different relationship with God. Its like we are equals when we are suppose to be submissive servants/slaves.
