Last night I put some lemon juice on my locs and blow dried them just enough to not drip (didnt notice a difference in color but i wanted to try the dryer method and then the Sun method. Maybe that 1 will actually work). I sat trying to think of what i should do for a style for work and while thinking i was twirling a loc around my finger. I stopped and then went back to it and realized IT WAS STILL INTACT! i didn't need a clip or anything! I think it's because of the sticky component in lemons but once it was dry it wasn't sticky.

I DO NOT ADVISE YOU TO DO THIS REGULARLY! the acid is horribly for your hair. anything that will remove color will start to burn and remove the physical material. If you don't know what i mean, try it with a peice of old fabric. get a cup and put in a small piece of fabric then pour in some bleach. come back in a day or 2 (maybe the same day even) and take out the fabric. if it doesn't dissolve in your hand tug at it and notice how easily it comes apart. ....ANYWAY

this was my great experience with lemon juice on my hair. it's a great twisting medium and it leaves your hair smelling pretty darn great! :-D

  • Im new to the dread process almost 2 months in and was just browsin ideas. Imma try this. Im feelin ur dreads and u are beautiful

  • Nice dreads im glad I found this video...

  • @summerrblu From all the information I looked up, it will not damage your hair one bit. My loctician says it will just make it stiff. Dilute half and half with water and try not to saturate the hair.

  • @Supa6Fly lemon juice makes ur hair get a bit ruff right, is there any evidence that shows that the lemon juice will damage or is damaging ur hair

  • Sounds interesting I'm gonna try it.
