The wages of sin — pt3 of 5 (requital)

Stop the killing, start the living means that we need to replace the negativity of our life style (death style) with something positive. We must remember that Self Improvement is the basis for community development, and the room for self improvement is the biggest room in our house. We can all improve in prayer, fasting, giving in charity... All these tools have a cumulative positive effect in our environment. This positivity can be transmitted to others in the same way that a bad spirit can. If the wages of sin always spells death, the wages of right-dealing spells life!

Righteousness can be brought about by our realignment. Religion was given to us so that human beings can get the opportunity to realign with Allah. Realignment does not belong to anyone nation in particular. The Holy Qur'an says that Religion is for Allah, so when we impede the realignment process because we believe Islam/Christianity/Judaism belongs to us, we commit a major sin. We may think that we are "on it" in terms of our good deeds, however, in reality we are straying further and further off the path. This is reflected in our environment.

Allah says that we should make space in our assembly for those who come to Him. We must remember that in the pilgrimage, the believers travel from many different countries, cultures and backgrounds with varying levels of dysfunction. Allah says, the true believers are the patient, and as a result, all receive their wages.
