@BarryKunz64 I disagree. There are not thousands of roads that could hold comparable events. Pikes Peak is still the only hill climb that takes advantage of a road that receives little use for the quality it was built to.

@PunkFictionProdction I understand that, but I dont think you realize how iconic and famous it was BECAUSE it was dirt/gravel. Now it is an entirely different event. There are leterally thousands of roads they can hold hillclimb events that would be a challenge(granted they get permission)point being there was ONLY this dirt hillclimb . thats what made it exciting.look up a video called "climb dance" THAT is Pikes Peak.

@BarryKunz64 You do realize that paving the entire mountain only allows for faster vehicles to enter, right? A Le Mans prototype could literally compete in 2012, I fail to see how increasing the average speed of the mountain makes it any less challenging.
-
@PunkFictionProdction well, it WAS the most challenging hill climb till the idiots paved it all the way to the top.
-
@PunkFictionProdction its a v6

All the other drivers seemed a bit tame compared to the last one. Must have been a veteran of the mountain.

@elmarko99 I have no idea, but you're right, definitely not a V6.
