As highlighted in that story, The 27th anniversary of the Wagalla massacre was marked today at the Wagalla military airstrip, with Prime Minister Raila Odinga as the chief guest. But, even as the commemoration took place today amidst calls for justice to be served on the victims, questions still linger as to what really transpired at the Wagalla airstrip 27 years ago. In this second part of our series, "Death in the Desert", our Senior Anchor Belinda Obura brings us witness accounts of survivors from the airstrip as well as that of an army man who took part in the massacre. We would like to warn our viewers that some of this images in the report may be disturbing.

  • just wait kenya , Somalia will be your down fall , and when the blue flag flies high again , we will make sure this act is paid in full.

  • @kip812 hey i wonder if you were once a kibaruo in islii and denied payment. becouse you arent only spewing hate, there is sense that a somalian punished you for something. we own you and you damn country, before it was the indians today it is the somalians, you HEARD YOU NAPPY HEADED HOE

  • in east Africa the Somali people are the largest 20 million in Somalia, 7 million in Ethiopia and 2 million in Kenya. united by religion, blood, culture and language, what you think if the the dominoes falls in Kenya and Ethiopia. in Kenya it is held together by the west. and in Ethiopia they are a bubble waiting to burst. in Kenya though i don't wish them ill, but their involvement in Somalia will be remembered. in Ethiopia they are more than 10 separatist groups fighting against the dictator

  • Its regrettable that some innocent lives were lost, but Kenyan government had been vexed enough by the shiftas...What Kenyan Gvt did, was something that any government who cares about its peaciful citizens would do...Shiftas were a big meance... Degodia clan harboured dissidents....Degodas shouldn't have supported the shifta dissidents...
