Viku and the Elephant, a children's story from the forests of India

A hungry boy goes to the forest in search of fruit and finds a young elephant in distress. He helps the elephant and the two become friends. The book describes their many adventures and how they defeat ivory thieves. Author, Debu Majumdar, talks about his book with beautiful illustrations.

This is a wonderful story, which can be enjoyed both by the children as well as the adults. An original story, not read anywhere else! It shows the spark of a genius.
