This project was shot on super 16mm. Starring Mark Scheibmeir as The Deputy and T.R. Brunson as The Hunter. It's an adaptation of a scene from Jim Thompson's "Bad Boy." For film nerds, the film stock used was Kodak Vision 2 50D. Enjoy.

  • what software was this edited on?

  • @uncutfilm, sorry I wasn't logged into my own account when I left that last comment.

  • Thank you! I believe it was an Arriflex super 16, 70s model that we lovingly called "Neo" in our film department.

  • Although the ranch looks very familiar.....and come to think of it...so does that gentleman who plays the deer hunter....hmmm.

  • Great reel man!! We should collaborate next time you're in Texas.

  • Thanks for asking, we transferred the film at 24p onto an HD tape, made an Apple pro-res file from that, then did all the editing on *gasp* Adobe Premiere CS4. Probably should have used Final Cut though.

  • Really nice pace.

what camera did you shoot this on?

  • Great job on this film!
