Taikai (Nakanishi division) at the 2010 AUSKF Summer Nationals.
These are my friends, Sue (5th dan), and Paul (4th dan), competing in the Nakanishi division (4th dan & above). The kata for this division were the following:
1. Koryu (not shown)
2. Koryu (?)
6. Ropponme -- Morote Tsuki
8. Happonme -- Ganmen Ate
10. Juhonme -- Shiho Giri
Sorry... I started the video late, and missed the first koryu (school) form. Which is too bad -- Sue is muso jikiden eishin, and Paul is musho shinden. It would have been nice to see the two koryu styles of mae together. Oh well. And sorry again -- I don't know the names of the first form shown on the video.
Paul won this round, and then went on to win first place overall.
I haven't done seitei gata in years, but those kata look like tsukaate, soetezuki, and sogiri to me.
