I love how they market the 'Ultrasaw' as being a new thing, considering how the JP-8000 did it in 1997.
Also, the 'Brute Factor' distortion has been done by Moog for a while.

Awesome!

Nothing like a 101. Sounds thin like most Arturia stuff.

Great price for such an outstanding machine.

@IAmBound I've been thinking of getting into building some stuff, but I have no clue where to start. I've alwats had this gearheady side of me that screamed "open it up" every time I got something. I just love the whole technical side of sound. I'm sure theres ways to shrink and cheapen the cost of analog circuits too. I personally think that's the future of synths.

@Novaheart1998 yessir. Haha, that's why I'm actually looking FORWARD to getting a synth without memory. It forces me to be creative. I know what you mean about vintage analog digital though. I have soundbank sampled from the original Virus's (specifically Indigo 1 model) and almost all my sounds are gated, distorted, reverbed, or otherewise effected versions of those samples. As far as unique goes NI comes up with some interesting stuff but it's all VST which imho is unstable.

@Novaheart1998 I have 12 synths, all of them are 80's synths, most are analog, I do love the new digital stuff but I buy them, try them for a year then sell them, meanwhile I never sell off the old ones, they just sound TOO good, you can not beat early 1980's analog! I use samplers too but I use 1990 Roland S770's - you can call them vintage digital if you like, I do! They sound awesome even by todays standards - they are just slower and have no memory but hey its more fun that way isn't it?
