They didn't LET people leave, they trapped people intentionally. Worst of all was they locked dorms from the outside but not from the inside. People who went outside just to smoke got trapped, too.

I've seen a couple of videos on the University of Pittsburgh and on all of them I don't see why the police got crazy. No one was doing anything but holding up signs and talking. That's freedom of assembly. I agree, no laws were broken. The police's actions were just wrong.

HOLY FUCK!.....THe police had advised that this all was an illegal assembly, they read the Riot Act and anybody stupid enough to be around when they got serious suffered the consequences, no sympathy.
