my granpa had this awesome austrailian that had no tail whatsoever, he was a really loyal dog to my grandpa who had horses, and he would help round them up, but he would always snap his teeth at us and get jumpy when we were smaller cause he was trying to herd us lol, but he was really sweet when we were older
I have a mini aussie. He is red, tan, and white. He is red merle though. we live on a farm and i am teaching him flyball and agility. We have 2 other dogs also. I think he gets pleanty of exercise. not to mention the herding and the 1 mile walk everyday!
I have had my Aussie (Jake) for 9 years he has been great, I have lots of room where I live he can go where ever, but he is always at my back door when go out , very smart and aggressive to strangers, barks only when he sees or hears something out of the norm, he does stay by my side great companion
