Meaning, practice, but practice for yourself, presumably at a place or volume where you're getting into it on your own.

some people imitate, others enjoy the playing but only a few can create the guitar riffs and music that we all hold dear... and many generations will play in their own style, making hits in their own right, duly earned. But the originals will always be the ones that set the pace and style and trend of music forever
