  • OMG thats terrible! that tanto would have been in his Tori's Leg!! Judo Practitioners??? and whats with the funny walk to get the tanto?? even kodokan practitioners of Judo dont walk like that! Yes this Kata is from Kano Sensei but the Original "Shinken Shobu no kata" certainly wouldnt have had funny walking and during the defence the leg would have been moved out the way of the tanto! Fem. Artery inside of leg. Japanese people don't and never have walked like that =S

  • The Kata is Pre Judo. Every part of it has a reason including the walk. If the knife was going to enter Tori's leg, it would have, that's a live blade.

  • Kime No Kata, se realiza de esa manera porque sensei Jigoro Kano, fué alumno de las escuelas Kito Ryu y de la Tenjin Shinyo Ryu, por lo tanto, estas posturas estudiadas son la esencia de ellas.
