most of my youth was spent in the Black cap, every night was caberet, fantastic. Reggie, the harlequeens, Derrick Reece, amateur nights on Tuesdays when there were about 25 acts plus Reg and you had to stand on a bar stool all night to se the stage, fighting lesbians, David rosen, Sandra and Lucia, Nicky Vixen....the list goes on. Great to see these clips, takes me back, oh and not to forget the wonderful Lee Paris on Sunday lunch times

Reg, Roy and Gracie, Phil and Alistair. I have a foggy drunken memory of being in a car, probably Phil's boyfriend Chris's, late 70's and Gracie needing to piss. Then lily law pulled up behind us while he was standing there in full drag, tights round his ankles and peeing. They just drove away again.
Made me feel like a young man again...if only I knew where I could get one.....

That is the harlequeens in the video with Regina etc ... they were, of course, young there!
