Today the EUR/GBP and GBP/CHF 2hr macd divergence we have seen for over a week finally was followed up by some lower highs on the EUR/GBP and higher lows on GBP/CHF. Hinting Strongly at minimum of a 21 ema pullback on these long term charts was about to occur. This meant essentially we had technical reasoning to go Long British Pound Sterling against all comers all night long at any support possible until either resistance was hit, or failure in the form of 1-2-3 pattern's etc. There were high quality long entries on GBP/USD, GBP/CHF, GBP/JPY, and short on EUR/GBP well into the pre-London session. These parts all offered again high quality pullbacks as the London market opened around 8am London time. In this video I focus on just one of these pairings, the GBP/JPY. I show in detail the divergence we spoke of that led us to believe Sterling strength all night would be the theme, along with complete details on how we put together a 'Reload' of the GBP/JPY long off a double bottom 61/8% Fibonacci and other overlapping support. I also discuss how we planned our profit takes, and determine where this trade might go. Excellent night overall, nice GBP basket trades that really cleaned up tonight, could not ask for a better way to end the week.

  • Chris how do you do this. Man you're like the guy with a torch in a long dark tunnel. You explain every so well and never miss anything on any timeframe. Excellent!

  • Thank you but don't kid yourself, I certainly miss much, I just catch a lot more than I miss. However, if you build your bias for the day off proper overall analysis at the beginning of each of your trading sessions, you can very much 'tune-in' to every move of the pair(s) you had a plan for. Which keeps you prepared for everything.

  • Very Good ... but please would you mind to speak just a little slower ? Just have some thinking about not english born people. Sometimes listening you (or would I say trying to listen) I have the feeling of a gun machine uttering burst. TIA

  • You are correct, I do speak too fast. It's something I am not too sure I can every fully change about myself, my brain moves even faster than my mouth. Sorry for that,I hope you are able to extract helpful training out of my sessions even as fast as I may sometimes speak.

  • great entry off the dbl-bottom Chris and great exit strategy...always enjoy your vids

  • gr8 stuff Chris i was falling asleep an missed the pips. but need this review to affirm the set ups. thnx gerard

  • Clear communication is clear communication-five minutes or fifty minutes. This presentation is neither clear nor concise and to acknowledge failure as success under the guise of complication is distorting reality! Improvement in communication is the only real solution!

  • Thx for your effort, Chris!

    Not everybody needs to understand everything in a youtube 19min video.

  • A lot of clutter on the charts with the moving averages, b.b. Fib. Bad charting package. Back and forth through various time frames. Poor instructor.

  • Thanks Chris

    clean and straight forward

  • Oh yes, but It boils down to 2 things-there are good writers, and there are technical writers. So there are also good presenters and there are technical presenters. Engineers will often delight in tech talk. DOS was proof of that. But books like "Elements of Style", teach one the art of communication!

  • I suppose it boils down to two things;

    1. Do i want to be a pro meteorologists?

    2. Am i going to train to be one?

  • thank you for the reply coach... Ive gotta start attending your session more often.
