What Campus Police, I saw a couple of stooges in police uniform?!? It is a shame that these mentally challenged spoiled rotten anarchists are allowed to run what USED to be an institute of higher learning. U of Mass has lost it's creditiablity.

The students have the first amendment right to interrupt him. Why does Don Feder get to practice his first amendment rights but college students don't?

I will never understand the logic of conservatives.

All politics aside, isn't it considered rude to interrupt a public speaker who has come to your school to give a speech?
At my high school we would never dream of interrupting a guest speaker!

i am an alumna of UMASS Boston and i have to say, i am embarrased by the treatment of Don Feder. no matter what opinion someone may hold of someone else for their political ideology, doesn't everyone have the right to free speech, esp if they were invited to speak. if those kids were the ones giving the speech, wouldn't they want to be able to make their speech without people turning their chairs around and shouting at the lecturer ? like come on kids, grow the hell up.

By definition, only the government can violate your right to free speech. The 1st Amendment protects citizens from the GOVERNMENT, not from college students. The asshat who labels this an a First Amendment violation clearly needs to revisit the Constitution. Private citizens have the right to be as rude as they like.

Goddamn it I seriously hate college students. They are full of themselves but yet completely blind to how retarded they are. How could they not see the sweet, delicious irony of shouting down a seminar on hate speech?

I am now ashamed to answer truthfully when asked if I graduated from college...

It was on hate CRIMES, not hate speech. They aren't the same. Like, at all.
