@southsydney I don't want to argue against the beliefs themselves, but in many countries with Buddhist majorities or important minorities there are political parties that claim to defend the "traditional" Buddhist way of living against the "outside", like in Japan or Sri Lanka, and they are no better than the religious far right in America

In the video, and in the comments, I see understanding and miss-understanding. God has a plan. Sometimes, if you look carefully enough, you can see some parts of the plan. He can even make death, unneeded violence, and other good and bad things fit into the plan. .

@southsydney buddhists respect all life and the rights of others. Thats why its a minority religion, because they arent roaming around forcing their views on everyone else as the christians, jews, jehovahs witnesses and muslims do.
