mlb 2k9 Tagging out the runner on a suicide squeeze attempt?

Ok so i was playing A franchise game vs the Dodgers and they attempt a suicide squeeze, the batter misses the bunt attempt so i run with the catcher towards the runner coming down the 3rd base line to tag him, i basically run into him way be4 he reaches home but i guess my catcher didn't tag him out because he was safe at home. You can tell he was safe in this video because notice the runner at end of video pumping his fist in excitement that he just scored.

To me this is another bug in this game that could have been good if it weren't for stupid things like this.

If you were playing catcher in real life and you see you have the opportunity to force a run down or a tag way be4 the runner has a chance to touch home, should you just stay put or do what i did in this game??

what you should do. is when you see the runner on third take off tell your pitcher to step off the mound and then throw it home so the batter can't lay down the bunt :))
