NEW STORY! That's What You Get - Chapter 1

Chapter 1

----------------WATCH THE VIDEO!----------------

This is the first chapter just for you guys to see what it's gonna be like!

He took both my hands in his before pulling me close and kissing me on the lips. I could feel his tongue tracing my lips as his hands moved from my hands, to my back, down my back, and then back up as one tangled through my soaking wet hair and the other held my face. The rain pounded my face, soaked my long brown hair and ran down onto my shirt as he held me against his chest where one of my hands rested. I didn't care, nothing could ruin this moment. My other hand was on his cheek when he finally stopped. That perfect boyish smile flashed across his face all the way from one hazel eye to the other before he leaned in with one hand in mine, the other on my neck and I could feel his lips on my ear whispering,
"I love you."
He smiled once more before it faded to confusing hurt and then ran off back to his house where his brothers and parents were calling him, leaving me to walk home in the rain.

I opened the door to my two-story house, setting my book bag down by the door and then walking joyously into the kitchen where my mom would be cooking dinner.
"How was your day sweetie?" This normally wasn't a question my mom asked until dinner, so I guessed she noticed my happiness as I went dancing from place to place setting the table.
"Oh, nothing special." I turned around to hide my smile. I hoped it wasn't that obvious.
"We can talk more at dinner, go get started on your homework." Maybe it was obvious. It bothered me how much my mom paid attention sometimes.
I flitted up the stairs, backpack in hand, to start my homework. I noticed I had a bounce in my step. I had one math problem done when I was called back downstairs for dinner.
I guess my mom had something else on her mind because my happiness was uncontrollable but she never said anything. The awkward silence that sat with us at the table made dinner unbearable.
"Hey mom, are you alright?" I asked her.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine," she said and then added under her breath, "Just wait till tomorrow, you'll see."
"What was that mom?"
"Nothing hun. Go on, I'll clean all this up."
"Thanks mom," I called back to her, shoving my dishes into the dishwasher and then flew upstairs to finish my homework. I wanted tonight to go quickly so I could see him again tomorrow.

I woke up late and flew through the shower. I hurried and curled my hair in loose curls. I got dressed in my jeans, converse, and a blue t-shirt.
I flew downstairs and grabbed my toast out of the toaster, chewing ferociously. I grabbed my backpack, purse and keys and ran outside, locking the door behind me and almost running down the street to his house.
When I got there, all the cars were gone.
Hmm, I thought, walking up to the front door finishing my toast and knocking. I waited a minute, and then knocked again, but still, nobody answered. I walked over to the side of the house, peering through the window I knew went to the living room. Everything was gone.
I walked hesitantly back around to the front to see what I had been dreading.
Now I understood. The sign in the yard, the missing furniture, cars, and people, the look on his face yesterday as he looked at me for the last time. And I realized something.

Joe wasn't coming back****
