Thomas Train Table vs Imaginarium Train Table

You want to buy a train table but are not sure if you should get an 'official' Thomas Table or buy a less expensive one from Imaginarium or similar 'generic' brand. Thanks for the review also. After weeks of research I came to my own conclusion that buying non thomas would not be a wise choice however you've persuaded me to buy Imaginarium now. In Australia, Thomas is even more expensive than in the US (train table RRP $400 and the deluxe roundhouse set I have seen advertised for almost $1000!). I think there are benefits to buying a generic table which you can rotate other toys like puzzles, lego and blocks.

@taste4style wow, that's a pretty pricey train table in Australia. Glad we were able to help you make a decision. I can say a year later that we're still happy we bought the Imaginarium table/set. It's a great table and very easy to expand on with the genuine Thomas buildings/tracks/etc. Best of luck.
