  • @TheAlexManVideos i heard that putting one of these on a pit bike engine will ruin your crank bearings because the engine becomes unbalanced because the clutch basket is still heavy and but the rotor is light which puts pressure on the one side of the crank is this true?

  • @jamesm060191 Nope. That makes no difference. Balance only matters on the plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation. Your car engine has a huge flywheel + clutch/torque converter on one side of the crank and only a pulley on the other. It makes no difference. But if you have a crank mounted clutch on your bike, the cast basket usually shatters in time.

  • @TheAlexManVideos if i put one of these on my 110cc pit bike engine will it destroy my engine and if so how long will it take to do so, thanks for the reply and love the videos.

  • @jamesm060191 I don't own a Chinese engine and don't like working on them. Because of the hard to source parts and difference in design I can't say what will or won't work on your engine. In general, however, a crank mounted clutch doesn't like inner rotor kits.

  • sorry if I keep asking so much but how big is a carburetor in that monkey?

  • @Markus4160 It's a 24mm Shengwey. It's a knockoff of a Keihin.

  • People misunderstand what a inner rotor kit is. It is a magneto, that uses a magnet as a rotor, and a pickup that sends voltage to the coil, and spark to the plug. Depending on where the timing is set (business card gap) will determine at what rpm the max spark is delivered. The cdi (rev box) is a programmed piece to curve the ignition (advance at higher rpm/make spark happen sooner) to make sure it retains optimum spark timing to 12,500rpm.

  • The proper tool to remove the Phillips head plate screws is an impact driver, this is a spring loaded hand tool you hit with a mallet. The impact in, and spring twist unlocks impossible screws you would otherwise strip. You can buy one from eBay with bits for ~$40. The business card gaps the pickup to a proper spot, no need to set crank position for the plate install. Also, the keyway on the crankshaft will keep the rotor where it needs to be.

  • does this kitaco inner rotor kit work on the 140cc / 150cc lifan aswell as it works on the 110cc / 125 cc?

  • This video sucks it doesnt show the vital bits such as removing the flywheel nut and tightening it!

  • do you think a 27mm carb will work better on this bike? thanks

  • @TheAlexManVideos Any reason why the stock basket shatters ?

  • did that help it rev faster other than just in neutral? im wanting one for my 50 (82 big bore kit) cause i hate how slow it revs

  • if ur motor is honda wave 100?? it will work or not?

  • if u will tune up your motorcycle.. how can u locate the T mark? or timing? on the fly wheel

  • @joeytyls you dont have to!
