In 1988 Triple Vision was commissioned to produce an analysis of America's relationship with the third world and director Renny Bartlett took the bull by the horns - when we delivered this to Channel 4 they demanded we make another programme on the USSR to balance the opinions in this programme.

  • The point is, if your understanding of english were better, you might have understood that this programme is critical of western policy ...and, despite the normal behaviour of empires (british, chines, roman, american, persian, turkish - whichever) in the west there is a guaranteed right to have a voice. Not many cultures would allow you to 'die me' in public... carry on number one.

  • IDIOT.

  • @xyzpqr100 Pomp and Circumstance / English national anthem (hence why it was played while Thatcher was speaking.)

  • @Skyline037

You base this on what exactly?

It's easy taking on a popular opinion, even though you don't care much about it, isn't it?

  • the US goverment is stupid :) Instead of getting smarter and smarter, they seem to be dumber and dumber:) Paradoxal, isn't it?

  • If you want a fairer world, promote local economy and boycott the very same people that comissioned this film (Rockefeller foundation). And always remember, war is business and business is good and you are probably a profeteer of this. Want sweet bananas? Buy from your local grocery store and avoid the likes of wall mart. But you won't as wall mart will be way cheaper than the local...

  • what is the name of the music played at 28:40 ?

I have heard it several times but just cant remember where.

  • OK LET,S SEE!!...

  • The cartoon at the beginning is really good :-D

  • bs

  • @terryflaxton exactly guaranteed right to have a voice but not to have a thought! A big difference. As long as your voices are compliant with their thoughts! All the thoughtless people seem to have all the voices. Exactly what they want. Making you believe you they are your own. Like Chomsky said: "In the west there is a lot of freedom of speech but very little freedom of thought!" The fact that you are defending them only shows they did a great job!
