  • Twenty years ago I'd just got back to my home station after the 3 hour trip from my Girlfriend's place. Still in the throws of a newish relationship my heart ached as I faced the trudge up the hill to a cold, empty flat. It was cold, dark and just as it started to rain - a heavy, hissing drizzle - this song came up on my Walkman. I'll never forget it - and never forget the girlfriend - even though it only lasted two and a half years.

  • Angelic voice and beautiful piano. Listened to her music through hard times and its been great. Thanks Beverley your lovely. From the other side of the world in NZ we know you. from a pianist and music lover.

  • @littlebigbrain Well done Sir! :)

  • @mrclimaxification Thanks! Funnily enough, We recently got back in touch - so have that moment of "closure"of analysing what happened. Surprising how helpful that can be. :)

  • @AustinSomerset I am glad you like my lyrics

  • @freemind4ever I co-wrote the lyrics for this song.

  • @AustinSomerset 2.1/2 years ...man you really tried in that relationship ... sorry it did'nt work but hey a consolation you got this music out of it ..so keep smileing . : )

  • i first heard this outside a club on the radio .. touche dmy heart ... it is a simple composition of a great track & she is a good singer ... yay beverley x

  • @1HandyAndyUK1 She's very euphoric! I can't imagine what you went through, although I've seen much suffering in my line of work, but you're a hero and a selfless saviour of the innocent. Peace to you.

  • Back in 1993 I was deployed to Bosnia as part of UNProFor....two of the small collection of tapes I took with me were Beverley Craven and Love Scenes. In the cold and dark days I spent a lot of time listening to the Love Scenes album and to a large extent it gave me a little escape from what we were seeing around us. Even now when I hear the tracks my mind goes straight back ... a little bit of peace in the middle of so much suffering.

  • i wonder if why she did not enter into acting.. shes very pretty and she looks so sweet.. her smile is so amazing...

  • love her..
