Test Drive Unlimited

I cooked this up a while back out of boredom. Not exactly my driving game of choice, but I'm a sucker for high poly counts and HDR (fuggedabahdit). I admittedly could've put a ton more work into this piece of crap, but I got bored with the video itself, so I closed it up and rendered.

Yeah it's OK in hardcore mode. It's too bad they can't just make hardcore mode like a balls-out simulator, but I guess you can never have your cake and eat it too. I really wish I could dig into the physics code and plug in real world values, but as of now the only thing possible to do is replace car models.

Thanks, man. I wanted to do more with it, but sometimes you just kind of get turned off with a project in a way that if you were to improve it to the level you wanted to, it would incorporate changing literally everything and starting over. But that's the way it goes. This was originally rendered in 720p, it's sad how much youtube screws with the quality.
