Baby's First Song...what do you think it should be?

According to the baby books, the baby can hear now so we're going to do the headphones on the belly thing and want your ideas on what the first song should be.

I posted a coment earlier telling you that my favorite songs when I was little and a baby were Return to Pooh Corner by Kenny Loggins and Fire and Rain by James Taylor. I had posted about how much they mean to me and gave you links to them so that you could listen but I don't see it here so I am hoping that this one will come through and you will be willing to look them up and listen if you don't already know them. Aw, I didn't get that comment so I'm glad you tried again. I love Pooh and we are considering a classic Pooh design for the nursery. I used to sing Eeyore's Lullabye to one of my foster children, I still get choked up when I hear it. Thanks for the ideas. ~Rebecca

During myy first pregnancy, my daughter would really bounce and kick when loud bass/ R&B played.

like everyone has said before me, anything Classical is great for babies. Baby Ensteins has ton of great CDs! maybe try one of those, and then when the baby is born, he will know the songs aleady and the cd shoudl help soothe him to sleep.

Baby of Mine by Bette Midler from the movie Beaches. Love it! I sang it over and over during my first pregnancy. She is now 9 and loves the song still to this day ;)
