i dont believe any person who claims him self to be a god,but on the other hand he never claimed him self to be a god either,was not much interested about this person in the beginning,but i happen to visit his ashram day before yesteday which was just like a field trip to me,but not unless i met him.The moment he blessed me kept is palm on my head i felt the vibrations on my head i felt a lil dizzy and was in a mixed emotion of crying and laughing,

In the original spiritual teachings of self-realization it is often said/warned not to follow/revere/worship saints, avatars etcc..just God...who is in fact all of us..thus called Self-realization...today..too many gurus are out there are taking away from the essence of Yoga teachings and the path of SR...

In India there are many rogues and frauds who claim enlightenment and rip off their poor ignorant devotees to the last paisa.( OK now, people, don't post any comments, I was not referring to Nityananda) This comment is only for Mano2397 as a reply.

U are the Self yourself. If U take yourself to be the body and a separate jiva then U will always be in need of ANOTHER character who calls himself Nityananada, Shivananda, Premananda, Atmananda and so on. Such characters claim to be enlightened and then all this circus of Guru/disciple nonsense goes on. Instead remain as the Self and be free riight now.

I always expressed that if a person claims enlightenment then. it becomes encumbent to respect such claims. If he is a fake it is who will suffer at the end. Let us therefore not view wrongly on others. May he continue to offer guidance to those who need it. Om Tat Sat.
