well not really i dont own this camera or know much about it but i know alot about cameras. to me no its not there is one reason that is there are no hd cables. in a true hd camera you will have component cables or hdmi to view your video. the one in this video only has av cables which means 1ccd. if you want a good camera get one with 3ccd. this has pickup for each color red green and blue rather than one for all colors. so no this is not hd.

I have the sr47, i need to know how to turn off the steady shot(stabilizer) on this camera, for my fisheyes vig to stop shaking, thanks.
