Quel Beautemps Orpheon Celesta 1990

It was in the summer of 1983 when I played with the Climax Jazz Band at the Edinbrough Scotland Jazz Festival. There were many bands from Europe and one of the most outstanding acts was a group from Meudin, France. Their at that time 5 piece group was called Orpheon Celesta.
Through the years I have been in contact with their leader cornettist Emmanuel Hussenot.
They reduced their group to a four piece and now in the years 2000 and on are down to a trio. This trio still performs very good jazz, but they now go from theatre to theatre and do vaudeville, pantomime,humor, basically a very entertaining theatre act.
